Fresh Air Repair | Yoga at the Barn
Most Sundays in August & September at 11 a.m.
Most Sundays in August at 11 a.m. (*Address/Directions below*)
** Please bring a mask - you will NOT need to wear it during yoga, however, we ask that you wear it before and after. Thank you! **
Becky will lead a 90 minute Yin Yoga session for all levels. If you can get down onto the ground - you should be fine for this class!
Enjoy this slow-paced, supported & nurturing style of yoga. Each pose is held by the earth, the props you bring and for a specific amount of time. The longer holds help to target the connective tissues deep within the body.
Some benefits of Yin include:
- Lessens physical, mental & emotional stress & tension
- Quietens the mind - Yin Yoga is much like a meditation
- Relaxes the body & mind while calming the spirit
- Opens up energy channels (Meridians) throughout the body
- Improves range of motion in the joints
- Improves flexibility
If the sun is shining, class will be held in the grass to the right of the barn. There are enough trees to provide shade for anyone who needs/wants it!
If it rains, we literally have that covered ;) There is a section of the barn with a roof we can use; however, we encourage extra padding as the floor is cement.
Coming from Route 104 (Oswego, NY) turn onto Cemetery Road. Pass the first house on the left, look for the brown barn on the left set back from the road.
If you are coming from Route 20, go almost to the end of Cemetery Road heading toward Route 104 and the barn will be on your right hand side.
The closest address is 380 Cemetery Road, Oswego NY 13126
PARKING: You are welcome to park by the road or drive down & closer to the barn (where class will be held).

BYOP: Bring your own props!
Yoga Mat: If you do not have an outdoor mat, a beach towel will do. If you want to get real "earthy," use the green grass as your yoga mat!
Blocks are not necessary, however, bring one or two if you have them and want the added support.
Yoga Strap: A long scarf or belt will work perfectly.
Blanket (or two): Please bring at least one blanket, maybe two! A bolster is a great Yin yoga prop as well.
